Information Systems Director - Town of Scarborough and Scarborough Public Schools

Job Overview The Town of Scarborough and Scarborough Public Schools (Maine) is seeking an experienced full-time Information Systems Director. This position is responsible for ensuring the acquisition, application and integration of information technology systems and services that support the academic, administrative, and operational strategies of the municipal and school departments. The Director will be the strategic leader of Scarborough's information technology vision, policy and planning with direct responsibility for managing the Department of Information Technology Services. Qualifications Advanced degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field. Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in technology-related positions, including at least five years of senior management or executive-level ITS responsibilities. Experience and skill in managing personnel and departmental fiscal responsibilities. Driver's license with an excellent driving record and availability to work evenings. Equivalent combination of training and experience that demonstrates the required knowledge, abilities, and skills may be considered at the discretion of the Town. Benefits Competitive salary.
