Physical Therapist
A physical therapist is needed for a home health position. The role primarily involves working with adult patients but may occasionally include school-aged children. Common diagnoses include post-orthopedic surgeries, fall risks, deconditioning, and mobility issues. Experience with these patient types is essential. The expected patient load is 20-25 patients per physical therapist. Support within the department includes access to a scheduler and leadership available via phone. Traveling up to 100 miles may be required within the designated area. Scheduling includes a weekend rotation of 1 weekend every 4-6 weeks, with both Saturday and Sunday required. Availability for holidays is expected, with a commitment to work on major holidays and some minor holidays. Shift times are generally from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, with a possibility for 4 ten-hour shifts. Dress code is business casual or solid-colored scrubs.
