About the Position
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Care of ventilated patients - Continuous IV sedation - ICP monitoring - Procedural sedation administration/monitoring - Level 2 trauma experience Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse in the Trauma Intensive Care Unit. The role involves various responsibilities related to patient care in a critical environment. The nurse will manage complex patient cases including trauma-surgical and neurosurgical patients. Daily census in the unit averages around 9 patients. The nurse will work alongside interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy and respiratory services. Weekend shifts are required, and the nurse may float within the facility as needed. Candidates will be expected to comply with facility dress code regulations. Tattooed skin must be covered, and no visible body piercings other than earrings are permitted. Facial hair, acrylic nails, and unnatural hair colors are not allowed. All requirements must be met prior to consideration for this position.
