Bus Drivers - Substitutes
Up to $29.43 per hour (based on experience) The Yarmouth School Department is consistently recognized among the highest-performing districts in Maine, with two National Blue Ribbon Schools awards since 2018. We are committed to continuous improvement and are seeking dependable, motivated individuals to join our transportation team in supporting safe and reliable service for our students. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and encourage candidates who will contribute to the cultural and ethnic diversity of our district. No prior bus driving experience is required. The Yarmouth School Department proudly offers comprehensive training for the right candidate, including all required Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT), behind-the-wheel instruction, and full support throughout the licensing process. You will be joining a collaborative, professional team committed to safety, excellence, and community service. In return for this investment in your training, we ask for a one-year employment commitment upon successful completion of licensure.
