Supply Technician

Overview Join Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN), a nationally recognized health system committed to delivering high-quality care. This role supports the receiving, warehousing, distribution, delivery, and replenishment of medical products, linen, and mail to ensure efficient operations across supply locations. Responsibilities Determine the amount of supply needed for each bin in a clean supply room and ensure adequate stock until the next replenishment cycle. Use handheld scanner to enter quantities to be picked; verify items by product number, unit of measure, manufacturer number, warehouse location, and quantity. Decase supplies as needed and place in baskets or on mobile carts for delivery. Deliver supplies to appropriate locations, verify quantity and description, check expiration dates, and place supplies in correct bins/locations. Straighten supply room, rotate stock, and escalate items for credit or follow-up as needed. Receive FedEx/UPS packages (physical and in ERP) and handle items shipped to the network; perform outgoing shipping. Investigate missing or delayed packages; replenish and assemble carts, intubation trays, and related supplies as required. Pack, order, deliver, monitor, collect, and return clean and soiled linen (including scrubs and slings) to end users. Perform mail runs and pickups/deliveries on schedule; participate in physical inventory processes. Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jack) to stock shelves and move/deliver supplies. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma/GED. Demonstrates basic computer/PC navigation skills, and familiarity with warehousing devices, equipment, hardware, and software. Preferred Qualifications Technical School Diploma or Associate’s Degree. Familiar with medical supplies, consumables, and equipment; ability to understand their use. Physical Demands Lift over 50 lbs; push/pull up to 140 lbs; carry 80 lbs for short distances. Frequent standing, walking, squatting, kneeling, crawling, climbing, and reaching overhead.
