OVERVIEW
Situated on 104 acres of rolling hills, Bouchaine is located in the southern-most area of Carneros in Napa Valley. We are the oldest continuously operating winery in the Carneros district – a winery that began making wine long before the region earned its reputation for producing the great Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs of today. SUMMARY
The Winery Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately entering financial and operational data into the winery's accounting and inventory systems. This role supports the accounting team by ensuring invoices, receipts, inventory transactions, and other records are entered promptly and accurately while maintaining organized documentation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•  Enter vendor invoices into the accounting system.
•  Enter customer payments and deposits.
•  Input purchase orders, receiving documents, and inventory transactions.
•  Enter grape, bulk wine, bottling, and dry goods inventory data as directed.
•  Scan, file, and organize financial documents electronically and physically.
•  Verify data for accuracy and completeness before entry.
•  Assist with matching invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents.
•  Maintain vendor and customer records.
•  Support month-end data entry deadlines.
•  Assist with other administrative and accounting tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
•  High school diploma or equivalent required.
•  Previous data entry or bookkeeping experience required.
•  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Desktop applications.
•  Winery or agricultural experience is preferred but not required.

SKILLS
•  Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
•  Strong organizational skills.
•  Ability to work efficiently with repetitive tasks.
•  Basic understanding of accounting terminology.
•  Good communication and teamwork skills.
•  Ability to handle confidential information.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
•  Ability to sit for extended periods.
•  Frequent use of a computer and keyboard.
•  Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
