LPN Ambulatory Care

Job Description Therapeutics is an innovative opioid recovery treatment facility with the vision of enabling clients to live happy, stable lives and return to being productive members of their communities. Our commitment is to help clients achieve recovery through the use of medical, psychosocial and support services. Therapeutics is certified by state, federal and national regulatory bodies and only employs licensed, credentialed professionals. This position is responsible for dispensing medication directly to patients, updating computer systems and maintaining other records as designated to comply with State and Federal policies. Hours of operation are 5:45 AM - 11:30 AM, Monday-Saturday; Administer/dispense methadone and buprenorphine in accordance with Michigan State and Federal regulations and in accordance with prescribing physician orders.
Record dispensing transactions in designated computer systems.
Document notes on patient computer records, including dosing results and test results.
Update medical records including client charts, medication charts, dosage records, and progress notes as required.
Interact with the physicians and counseling staff to coordinate patient treatment.
Maintain the dispensing room and equipment in a clean and orderly state.
