RN: PICU

Job Description Join the Pediatric ICU team at Advocate Children’s Hospital in Oak Lawn, Illinois, for a 13 week travel nursing assignment that promises both challenge and camaraderie. As a PICU RN you’ll work 12 hour night shifts, providing specialized care for some of the most vulnerable little patients with respiratory issues, congenital heart conditions, hematology/oncology needs, post‑op recovery, and trauma cases. This role offers a chance to experience a vibrant hospital environment with a team that values teamwork and friendliness. Expect to assist with patient admissions, discharges, and high‑touch cleaning with support from CNA staff, all while using advanced equipment like EMR systems, Alaris IV pumps, and Med Dispense technology. No previous travel experience is required, but your two years of PICU RN experience, along with Illinois RN licensure, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications, will set you up for success in this dedicated unit.
