As we continue to grow in Florida, we're looking for skilled team members who want stable work, career advancement, and the opportunity to help build something great.ResponsibilitiesInstallation of new equipmentInstallation of ductworkInstallation of gas lines, drain lines, high and low voltage wires, etcMaintain an organized installation scheduleEnsure that installation standards are met through accurate documentation and trackingInstall service parts and components (e.g., ducts, coils, compressors, air filters, fans etc.)in accordance with local codesRun and work a job from start to finishFollow instructions from supervisor and carry out in timely manner.Supervise and be responsible for other installersReport problems with company tools or vehicle promptly.Work well with customers, co-workers and subcontractorsSchedule inspectionsWork staggered or off shift schedule if requiredMaintain professional relationship with buildersAlways maintain professional appearance and attitude.Run a job without supervisionComplete jobs within the labor budgetComplete all necessary paperwork, job packets, change orders, timecardsComplete T&M Sheets ProperlyQualificationsProven experience as an HVAC Installer or similar role in the HVAC/R industry.Knowledge of HVAC systems design, installation techniques, and maintenance practices.Familiarity with tools used in the installation and repair of HVAC systemsPossess the tools required for their level of experienceExperience installing round and rectangular ductAble to measure ductwork and install all equipment accessoriesAbility to complete all necessary paperworkStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.Valid driver's license with a clean driving recordExcellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.Certification or training in HVAC technology is a plus but not mandatory.Desired QualificationsEPA 608 / OSHA 10 / MEWPHVAC related certifications or trainingPhysical requirementsPhysical RequirementsBe able to Lift & Carry 100 poundsPerform Repetitive Bending, Twisting & LiftingAbility to work on feet for extended Period of timeClimbing and working off ladders and LiftsWork EnvironmentBe prepared to perform work in both interior and exterior conditionsBe prepared for extreme heat and cold conditionsConstruction site conditions are commonBenefitsCompetitive payComprehensive health insurance (including dental and vision)Health Saving Account with company contributionPaid Life Insurance401(k) plan with company matchingGenerous paid time offPaid HolidaysProfessional development assistanceEmployee discountAbout DWC MechanicalDWC Mechanical, LLC has been proudly serving Western New York since 1995, and we now additionally serve the Tampa, Fl area.
