Registered Dental Assistant

Registered Dental Assistant We are looking for a Registered Dental Assistant to join our team under the direct supervision of a dentist. The assistant will support dental procedures and be responsible for a range of tasks from chairside assistance to front‑desk duties. Essential Functions Proficiency in four‑handed dentistry. Assist the dentist with chairside tasks, including draping and seating the patient, preparing the treatment room, confirming charting accuracy, and documenting treatment on route slips. Operate dental radiography equipment. Apply topical agents and remove dressings. Serve as an active and enthusiastic team member. Fill in as Dental Receptionist to answer calls, route patients, and perform other designated tasks. Follow infection control policies and sterilization protocols and consistently demonstrate adherence to the sterilization process. Perform other work‑related duties as required. Qualifications Preferred two years of experience. Must possess a California license for Registered Dental Assistant and sealant certificate. Preferably bilingual in English and Spanish. Willingness to participate in an expanded duty program as it becomes operational. Desire to work closely with patients and staff. High‑school graduation. State radiological certification.
