What You Will Do: Ensure salt and pepper shakers, sugar holders, and other dining items are clean and fully stocked Serve residents promptly, courteously, and in an orderly manner Serve meals from the left, pour beverages and clear dishes from the right Remove empty dishes before serving the next course Transport dishes and service items to the kitchen after meal service Clean and sanitize tables and chairs and reset dining areas for the next meal service Sweep and mop dining room floors as needed Assist with preparation and service for special events and community functions Demonstrate positive resident relations and uphold the community’s standards for hospitality and quality service Maintain a positive, friendly, and professional attitude with residents, families, guests, and team members Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor Why You Are Qualified: The ideal candidate will have the following: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred At least 1 year of related dining or hospitality experience preferred Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Ability to remain professional and courteous at all times On a daily basis throughout the workday, must be capable of sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, reaching, turning, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, grasping with both hands, and performing fine manipulation Must be physically able to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted Why You Should Apply: Competitive pay Great benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and more Excellent growth and advancement opportunities Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) and Holiday Pay programs Supportive team environment where you can make a difference every day Hired candidates will be required to successfully complete a criminal background check, valid references, pre-employment drug test, physical, and proof of employment eligibility.
