Accounting AssistantExpanding international distribution company is looking to add an Accounting/Office Assistant. This is a newly created position due to growth with the company in their South Charlotte office. Logistics experience is a big plus. This person should be extremely proficient in Quickbooks with an in-depth knowledge of AR and AP.This position is located in South Charlotte, NC with an hourly pay range of $25-27/hr. This is a contract to hire position.DutiesEnter Commercial Invoices in QuickBooksAssist with accounts receivable, billing and accounts payablePrepare Declaration of Manufacturing formsPrepare Allocation worksheets for necessary shipmentsSend required docs to customer, clearing agent and truckerSend original Bills of Lading (BOL) via FedEx to SSL or freight forwarderKeep customer information spreadsheet updated and current to include employee changes, trucker changes, etc.Keep Shipment requirement spreadsheet updated and currentPurchase orders and Pro Forma Invoice processingPrepare and send Sales Confirmation to customersTrack deliveries and invoice customers using QuickBooks, entering data for each invoice in appropriate spreadsheetsMonthly Sales RegisterShipment requirementShipment allocation sheetConsignment spreadsheetsWarehouse spreadsheetCalculate current import duty charges and update Duty SpreadsheetExperience and Skills Required:3+ years' experience with QuickBooks3+years' experience in office administration2 years of accounting operations experienceLogistics experience is a big plusAbility to work independently with customers, truckers, shipping lines, etc.Organizational and coordination abilitiesExcellent communication, interpersonal skills with team orientationAbility to work well in a fast-paced environmentShould be Computer-savvy with ability to work on MS Office specifically ExcelKnowledge of QuickBooksKey Skills / Words:Administrative Billing Accounts receivable Accounts payable Office Assistant Quickbooks Accounting AdministrationBachelor's Degree Requirement: No
