In this role, you'll lead event strategy and execution, develop customer acquisition initiatives through live experiences, manage high-performing teams, and drive measurable results through trade shows, home shows, community events, and promotional activations. What You'll Do As the Show & Event Manager , you'll oversee the strategy, planning, execution, and performance of all event-related initiatives while building and developing a team focused on generating qualified leads and supporting company growth. Responsibilities Include: Develop and execute comprehensive events and shows strategies that increase brand awareness and customer acquisition. Recruit, lead, coach, and develop a high-performing events team. Partner with sales leadership to align event initiatives with business objectives and revenue goals. Identify target markets and implement localized event campaigns that drive qualified leads. Plan and oversee trade shows, home shows, community events, promotional activations, neighborhood events, and other live marketing experiences. Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including staffing, setup, vendor management, scheduling, and on-site execution. Analyze event performance, market trends, and competitive activity to optimize future strategies. Develop and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to measure team and event success. Manage event budgets and allocate resources to maximize return on investment. Collaborate with internal marketing teams to develop promotional materials, digital campaigns, and brand messaging. Build and maintain relationships with vendors, event organizers, strategic partners, and community organizations. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development. What We're Looking For We're looking for a proven events leader who is strategic, data-driven, and passionate about developing people while driving business growth. Qualifications: 4+ years of events leadership experience, preferably within home improvement, construction, retail, consumer services, or experiential marketing . Proven success developing and executing event or customer acquisition strategies. Experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams. Strong understanding of trade shows, home shows, live events, and promotional activations. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance metrics and make data-driven decisions. Experience managing budgets and event resources. Proficiency with CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel locally and regionally as needed.
