LPN/RN Unit Manager

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated LPN or RN Unit Manager to join our leadership team at The Greens at Gastonia, a recognized Great Place to Work for four consecutive years . As a Unit Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of your assigned unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care while supporting and mentoring nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily nursing activities on the unit
• Ensure care is delivered in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and regulatory standards
• Conduct resident assessments and monitor changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team
• Provide leadership, coaching, and support to nurses and nursing assistants
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Assist with survey readiness and regulatory compliance efforts

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current, unrestricted North Carolina LPN or RN license
• Current CPR certification
• Previous long-term care experience required
• Prior nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
