SUMMARY The primary responsibility of this position is to assure the safety and wellbeing of guests, visitors and associates and provide exceptional guest services. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Monitors all Lake of the Torches Resort Casino properties for suspicious or disruptive activities and takes action as necessary. Reports all suspicious and disruptive activities immediately to the Officer in Charge for review and further action. Responsible for managing disturbances and situations on the Lake of the Torches Resort Casino property to minimize disruptions and ensure appropriate courses of action are taken in a professional manner. Provides exceptional guest services to assist in guest relations and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of guests, associates and Lake of the Torches Resort Casino properties. Assists in the monitoring of internal operations to ensure operational and procedural policy adherence. Is responsible for monitoring of slot department associates while associates are servicing slot machines, replenishing TITO, hand pays or jackpot payouts. Assists table game associates with game fills and assistance with guests. Monitors vault hard count associate activities during drop duties. Responsible for performing cash transfer activities to and from off-site destinations. Is responsible for cooperating with law enforcement agencies and provides depositions or courtroom testimony when necessary. Responds to medical emergencies and provides basic First Aid, CPR, and AED if necessary. Must be able to receive CPR certification. Performs other duties as assigned. POSITION RELATIONSHIPS Internal: Frequent contact with associates at all levels within all departments of the organization. External: Continual contact with guests and visitors. Occasional contact with law enforcement agencies and suppliers. SUPERVISION RECEIVED Receives direction and supervision on a daily basis from the Officer in Charge or Security Manager. EDUCATION A high school education or equivalent is required. EXPERIENCE Previous experience in a security or customer service environment is required. Prior experience in a casino environment or in Native American Gaming is preferred. SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to manage and maintain confidential and sensitive information with diplomacy and tact. Maintain a professional demeanor in stressful situations as necessary. WORKING ENVIRONMENT Work Conditions: The majority of position responsibilities are performed on the gaming floor and at all Lake of the Torches Resort Casino properties with exposure to differentials in temperature. Exposure to Hazards: May be exposed to situations where spills, wet floors or guest behaviors may create undesirable conditions. Physical Requirements: Must be able to walk, sit, stand, bend or lift for extended periods of time. Basic First Aid Requirements: Must be able to perform CPR and administer an AED.
