Travel CT Technologist - Charlotte, North Carolina

This opportunity provides the chance to refine your professional skills in a dynamic, high-volume setting with approximately 160 imaging studies performed weekdays and 120 on weekends. You'll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and expand your expertise through exposure to advanced technology and diverse workplace methodologies. With dedicated guest services and transport staff plus the support of radiology nursing, you'll be able to focus on delivering outstanding patient care while gaining invaluable experience in a robust healthcare environment.


Schedule/Hours:

• Flexible orientation with up to one week of departmental training (with required weekday attendance, even for weekend positions)

Qualifications:

• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT
• Current BLS certification
• At least 2 years of CT technologist experience
• Peripheral IV start proficiency
• Expertise with venous/arterial phase and multi-phase scanning
• Familiarity with stroke imaging (including perfusion)
• Experience with colorectal and CT cardiac studies preferred
• Prior knowledge of TeraRecon a plus (not required)
• First-time travelers welcome

Responsibilities:

• Perform ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient CT studies
• Conduct invasive CT-guided procedures, including cases involving anesthesia
• Operate advanced imaging equipment, including Siemens CT scanners and Bayer/Medrad injectors
• Document and communicate through EMR (Epic), RIS (Epic Radiant), and PACS (Philips iSite)
• Collaborate with clinical teams to provide exceptional diagnostic care
• Adhere to strict radiologic safety standards
