Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive nursing care to telemetry patients, ensuring close monitoring of cardiac rhythms and vital signs. Oversees nursing staff activities and collaborates with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' health status by collecting and analyzing clinical data.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessments.
• Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs continuously.
• Coordinate care activities with interdisciplinary team members to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on condition management and care plans.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to nursing team members and supervise their performance.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practicing state.
• Minimum of two years recent experience in acute care or telemetry nursing.
• BLS certification from an approved vendor, required.
• ACLS certification from an approved vendor, required.
• Proficient in EPIC electronic health record system.
• Ability to demonstrate critical thinking, judgment, and supervision skills.
