We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care under the direction of registered nurses and physicians. Responsibilities Administer medications and assist with medication management Prepare patients for examinations by physicians and generate lab slips for physicians as needed. Clean, stock and maintain exam rooms as needed. Records patient care data including detailed history and medical records in EMR Monitor patient vital signs and symptoms Assist physician with procedures Resource for Medical Assistant and or LPN and other nonclinical office staff for clinical questions. Work with Medical Assistant and or LPN to treat and nurture patients in a safe and clean manner. Maintain follow-up of medical data such as mammograms, pap smears, dexa scans and other vital clinical information as needed. Create and maintain and follow-up to-do lists for clinical care Utilize knowledge of physiology and anatomy in patient care Direct interaction with patients including adolescents, adults, pregnant and elderly women. Level of curiosity to continue learning and advancement of knowledge to stay current. Other duties as assigned. Experience Valid RN license in New York Proficient in medication administration and dosage calculations Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology Experience in medical-surgical settings, Women's health, OBGYN preferred Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
