Operations InternAn Operations Intern performs various electronic and mechanical operations and assemblies by following work instructions using hand tools and other equipment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform assembly operations per documented procedures and applicable standards.Follow all safety and ESD guidelines.Remove support material and sand DDM printed parts per work instructions and training.Use hand or power tools as needed.Follow all safety requirements and use personal protective gear as required.Ensure good organization and cleanliness of warehouse area.Contribute to building a culture of cooperation and teamwork.Identify potential problem areas and make suggestions for improvements.QualificationsEducation and ExperienceOn a path to achieving high school diploma (or equivalent)Intern level positionSkills and AbilitiesRequiredBasic computer skillsAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsAbility to write legibly for completing recordsAbility to use hand tools and equipment after proper trainingAbility to complete tasks correctly and in a timely manner after proper trainingPreferredFamiliarity with working safely within a plant environmentDuring the school year times may be adjusted to fit with Co-Op responsibilities and classes
