Responsibilities Routing deliveries as needed Coordinate all LTL and TL shipments Oversee the shipping and receiving operations in a warehouse Ensure accurate and timely receipt of all incoming shipments Supervise a small team Implement and maintain efficient processes for receiving, inspecting, and storing goods Collaborate with other departments to coordinate the flow of materials Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies Maintain a safe and organized work environment Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Experience Previous experience in a supervisory role in a warehouse or distribution center Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and processes Proficient in using forklifts and other materials handling equipment Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures Understanding of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required Skills Ability to lift up to 50lbs Excellent leadership and communication skills Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on process improvement Attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proficient computer skills, including experience with inventory management software Qualifications 2 years of experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: $ $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Shipping & Receiving Supervisor Join a well-established, family-owned company where your leadership and warehouse experience will make an immediate impact.
