Job Description As a Security Officer Clearance Required Operations in Saint Louis, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.53 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon05:00 AM - 01:00 PMTue05:00 AM - 01:00 PMWed05:00 AM - 01:00 PMThur05:00 AM - 01:00 PMFri05:00 AM - 01:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements. Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, access points, restricted areas, and perimeter locations, with working environments and conditions varying by site. Monitor access activity and support visitor, employee, and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements. Document observations, incidents, and unusual activity accurately and promptly, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance. Be at least 21 years of age. A Guard Card or license is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification are preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
