In this role, you'll support the Occupational Therapist (OTR) in delivering high-quality therapy services aimed at improving residents’ independence, mobility, and quality of life. Current state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA). Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for working in long-term care settings. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans to enhance residents’ physical, emotional, and cognitive functioning. Provide hands‑on therapeutic interventions, including exercises, activities of daily living (ADL) training, and adaptive equipment use. Document residents’ progress and communicate updates to the care team to ensure continuity of care. Promote a safe and supportive environment while fostering meaningful relationships with residents.
