Per Diem Anesthesiologist Opportunity

NAPA is seeking per diem anesthesiologists for a great opportunity at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center! Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center (NFMMC) is located in Niagara Falls, New York, serving patients from all across Buffalo-Niagara, Western New York, Ontario and beyond. NFMMC is Niagara's leader in cardiovascular, women's health care, bariatric weight loss and primary care. The Medical Center offers a full range of medical, surgical, rehabilitation, and laboratory and imaging services in the Niagara Falls, NY campus as well as its outpatient facilities.

Case assignments include general and vascular surgery, gastrointestinal and colorectal cases, orthopedic, neurology & spine, gynecology, urology, and plastics.

Team leadership is provided by Dr. John Cilnyk, Chief Anesthesiologist. Our physicians work collaboratively with nurse anesthetists in a care team model, focusing on ensuring that everyone has a role, while supporting, respecting, and helping to deliver care excellence.

Responsibilities include assisting in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department, responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures, pre-anesthesia assessment, obtaining and/or verifying patient consent, discussing anesthetic options and risks with the patient, induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia, monitoring of the patient's physiological condition, and performance of clinical intervention as needed.

Requirements include an M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine, ECFMG and FLEX completion, completion of an approved residency in anesthesia, and currently being licensed as a physician.

Total rewards include an hourly rate of W2 per diem $275/hour - 1099 $295/hour, with a completion bonus offered for hours worked.
