Assembler 21-23/HR

This role focuses on building and assembling high-quality cabinets and mechanical subassemblies used in fluid delivery and process systems for the semiconductor industry. You will use hand and power tools to perform detailed mechanical and electrical assembly while following precise blueprints, schematics, and work instructions. • Assemble cabinets, frames, panels, and mechanical subassemblies used in fluid delivery processing systems for semiconductor tools.
• Interpret and follow blueprints, assembly drawings, electrical schematics, and written work instructions to complete assemblies accurately.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools such as drills, drivers, tape measures, and other measuring devices to perform mechanical and electrical assembly tasks.
• Install hardware, brackets, fittings, tubing, and other mechanical components according to engineering specifications and customer requirements.
• Perform electrical wiring assembly, including routing cables and connecting components when required.
• Verify proper fit, alignment, and functionality of assembled components and subassemblies.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet engineering standards and customer expectations.
• Maintain accurate production documentation and assembly records throughout the build process.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to resolve assembly issues and support process improvements.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to meeting production schedules and throughput goals.

• Hand tool experience, including safe and effective use of common mechanical tools.
• Electrical wiring assembly experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, mechanical drawings, blueprints, and detailed work instructions.
• 1+ years of manufacturing, assembly, mechanical, or production experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with both hand and power tools.
• Experience performing detailed mechanical assembly at a workbench or production line.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods during the shift.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

• Experience with electrical assembly, including wiring, cable routing, and schematic interpretation.
• Background assembling fluid delivery cabinets or similar process equipment.
• Familiarity with using tape measures, power tools, and other measuring devices in a production setting.
• Experience working from blueprints and assembly drawings in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to follow standardized work instructions and maintain accurate documentation.
• Interest in developing further mechanical and technical skills within the semiconductor or advanced manufacturing industry.

You will work in a clean, organized manufacturing environment focused on advanced semiconductor process equipment. Assembly work is primarily performed at workbenches using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices. All positions begin at 7:30 a.m. on the first day for onboarding and then transition to the assigned shift: a day shift running Monday through Thursday from 5:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., or a swing shift running Monday through Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. with overtime on Friday and a 10% shift differential. The facility emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and teamwork, providing a structured setting for precise mechanical and electrical assembly work.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, OR.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.10/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
