Location: New Bern, NC Pay Rate: $32/hour Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire Start Date: ASAP Assignment Length: 2 months to start, with potential for extension or hire Schedule: approximately 3 days/week (8 AM – 4:30 PM)

What You'll Do

• Provide medical nutrition therapy (MNT) across inpatient units
• Educate patients on nutrition strategies for acute and chronic conditions
• Conduct nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Deliver individual and group counseling sessions in outpatient settings
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including peer chart audits
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
• Practice at full scope, including order writing (as applicable)

What We're Looking For

A current, up-to-date resume Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field Registered Dietitian credential (RD/RDN) Active state licensure Experience in outpatient counseling or clinical nutrition preferred Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills Ability to meet compliance requirements
