MRI Technologist

Location: California

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day Shift, 4x10-hour schedule (07:00 - 17:00)

Job Description: We are seeking a qualified MRI Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will perform MRI procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care in a supportive environment. Responsibilities include operating GE 1.5 Signa and GE 1.5 Optima equipment and performing a range of examinations including neuro, musculoskeletal, abdomen, MRCPs, and breast exams.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans and ensure the production of high-quality imaging results.
• Prepare and administer contrast media as necessary.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and functional work environment.
• Assist in the care of patients by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort.
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in accordance with established protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (R)(MRI) preferred.
• California Radiologic Technologist certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in MRI imaging preferred.
• Experience with GE imaging systems is a plus.
