Viccarone Heating & Air Conditioning- CLE
Essential Duties / Responsibilities Leads and manages local accounting and operational team ensuring ongoing fiscal health of the business. Ensures timely preparation of monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet) and manages WIP, inventory, receivables, etc. Creates and manages annual budgets. Processes and reports month‑end close, meeting all deadlines and due dates. Reviews and approves all balance sheet accounts, including monthly bank and general ledger account reconciliations. Directs and/or prepares all financial reports meeting due dates. Investigates discrepancies and ensures accurate corrections. Implements and audits internal financial controls (purchasing, cash handling, disbursements, inventory, payroll). Assists leadership with important financial decisions and manages cash‑flow issues. Maintains compliance with all federal and state regulations. Provides supervision, training, coaching and feedback to improve performance. Provides leadership through objective setting, delegation and communication guided by senior management. Addresses performance concerns with constructive feedback and, if necessary, corrective actions. Ensures all direct reports comply with safety standards and are safety conscious. Conducts performance evaluations and provides updates to senior management. Responsible for hiring new team members. Searches for ways to improve results and effectiveness; recommends process/operational improvements. Interfaces with other departments on retail business issues and assists the team as needed. Follows all company policies and procedures. Minimum Requirements 2‑year college degree with an Accounting / Finance concentration and at least 4 years of related experience. Excellent computer competency, including at least 3 years of experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, and exceptional spreadsheet management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; English required. Ability to manage projects and resources. Availability to work overtime and occasional weekends. Preferred Qualifications 4‑year college degree with an Accounting / Finance concentration and at least 2 years of related experience. Physical Requirements Lifts/moves up to 10 pounds frequently. Adheres to long periods of standing, walking or sitting. Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and/or other sounds. Corrected or natural vision; able to see and focus for close, distance, peripheral vision with normal depth perception. Ability to express ideas verbally. Ability to enter text or data using a keyboard, including a 10‑key numeric keypad. Uses arms and hands to reach overhead, signal, grab, hold, lift, turn, push and pull objects and tools.
