IT Project Manager Infrastructure

Job Description Our client is seeking to hire an Infrastructure Project Manager to support data center related migration projects. Our client is a global company currently going through a separation of a large business unit, and they need project management and administration support in these efforts. This role is responsible for project management, report writing, administrative tasks, hardware orders, working with vendors, managing stakeholder relationships, and more. Our client is currently going through a global separation of their two business units. This role is part of the Media team and will take part in migration projects for the next 2-3 years. This includes datacenter migrations, consolidations, new environment builds, refresh, etc. Part of what makes this team great is that there is no micromanaging, which means everyone on the team is self motivated/driven to do the right thing. From day one this person will be making technical decisions to improve Nielsen's environment. Key Skills 3+ years of Infrastructure related project management experience. Managing projects from inception to post production - reporting, scheduling, budgeting large-scale projects Strong reporting experience - creating project update reports (budget, status reports, project timelines) using any of the following tools: Google Studio, MS Project, Excel Preferable experience project managing Data Center projects. This includes all physical / virtual machines including VMware, servers, storage, etc. The candidate must have very strong business acumen. They should be able to set realistic expectations and provide professional push back to other groups who they will be working with to finish projects on time Current and Upcoming Projects Intergradation of post-acquisition infrastructure environments + teams Virtual infrastructure (VMware) upgrades and modernization Automation of various infrastructure assets #J-18808-Ljbffr
