Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
This is a 15-week contract position.
Nights - 3 12-hour shifts (36 hours weekly) following the first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours.
The Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse will work in a fast-paced environment that includes a 28-bed department with 4 trauma bays, 2 behavior health rooms, and 22 cardiac monitor rooms. Teamwork and quick patient turnover are essential in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
- Assess and triage patients to determine priority of care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Must have a valid Hawaii RN license by the start of the assignment.
- Previous ER nursing experience preferred.
