SQL Database Administrator

Title: SQL Database Administrator * local to Pittsburgh, PA Description: We are actively seeking an experienced SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team in Robinson Township, PA . This role offers the opportunity to work on critical database systems while also contributing to application development and support efforts using C# and/or .NET .

- Administer, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases in a production environment
- Ensure database integrity, security, backups, and high availability
- Monitor and tune performance of the database systems
- Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely resolutions
- Collaborate with developers to design and implement stored procedures, triggers, and functions
- Participate in data integration, migration, and ETL processes
- Utilize C# and/or .NET to support internal tools or develop database-driven applications as needed
- Document procedures, system configurations, and change logs
- 3+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and T-SQL
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization
- Knowledge of backup, restore, and recovery models
- Development background in C# and/or .NET
- Experience supporting production and development environments
- Ability to work on-site in the Robinson Township area
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with SSIS, SSRS , or other SQL Server tools
- Experience with CI/CD processes in a .NET development environment
- Knowledge of cloud-based database services (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, etc.)
