Coordinator - Professional Development (6 Month-Contract Assignment)

Leading New York City hospital seeks a Coordinator for Professional Development Department. This is a minimum of a six month contract assignment.

\n

\n

Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Administer Workday Learning and RELIAS for the Nursing department, serving as a primary point of contact for learning system issues, employee enrollment, certification management, compliance tracking, and reporting.
\n
• Coordinate end-to-end nursing orientation and onboarding across disciplines, including schedules, learning assignments, EPIC training, presenters, onboarding materials, technology access, uniforms, and communication with leadership and new hires.
\n
• Manage employee certification and compliance programs, including all magnet approved Specialty certifications, ACLS, BLS, PALS, NOVA, ECCO, and Periop101; monitor expirations, facilitate renewals, maintain records, and generate compliance reports for leadership.
\n
• Create, manage, publish, and maintain courses, workshops, scheduled learning, and training assignments in Workday, including onboarding, continuing education, annual education, and Passport competency requirements.
\n
• Develop computer-based learning and eLearning content using Articulate Storyline and create job aids, instructional materials, and other educational resources.
\n
• Coordinate CPR program logistics, including scheduling, attendance tracking, REMSCO roster management, certification uploads, and compliance documentation.
\n
• Manage nursing school affiliation and student onboarding processes, including Workday profile creation, learning assignments, IT access coordination, and training compliance.
\n
• Coordinate educational CNE workshops from planning through completion, including course creation, registration, presenter coordination, attendance tracking, post-session records, and evaluation surveys.
\n
• Maintain the Nursing Hub and Professional Development resources, including job aids, workshop information, huddle highlights, council updates, meeting minutes, compliance grids, and training documentation.
\n
• Support workforce operations through Dimensions and SharePoint, maintaining staff schedules, PTO/sick/holiday tracking, calendars, and vacation trackers.
\n
• Provide administrative and operational support to Clinical Education Specialists and nursing leadership, including departmental calendars, room reservations, invoices, supplies, documentation, and annual planning.
\n
• Develop annual orientation and Passport learning plans and maintain organized Professional Development records supporting regulatory compliance, workforce readiness, and ongoing nursing education.

• Experience with Workday

• Strong organizational skills
\n
• Learning and Development experience preferred
\n

$32.00 - $35.00/hour
