Position Sous Chef – Alcove, Boston, MA (Full-time) Overview As a Sous Chef at Alcove, this position oversees kitchen operations daily, with a focus on AM and Swing service periods. The primary focus of this role is direct work with cooks, prep team and dish. Responsibilities Assist the Executive Chef in operating a cost-effective, clean and safe kitchen while meeting or exceeding food quality and speed of service requirements. Oversee all kitchen operations at your specific location in support of the Head Chef. Supervise and guide the prep team and ensure proper food safety and sanitation procedures are followed. Support the Executive Chef in leading a team of culinary professionals that deliver high-quality, great-tasting food. Supervising production and kitchen staff as part of overall kitchen management.
