- Provide OB/GYN care to a diverse patient population in a community health setting
- Support labor and delivery at Good Samaritan Hospital (approximately 1,500 deliveries annually)
- Manage outpatient clinic scheduled visits (about 14 patients/day)
- Support staff collaboration alongside midwives and other OB providers
- Perform onsite ultrasound and assist with deliveries
- Be available for scheduled 24-hour hospital call shifts with onsite accommodations (sleep room available)
- Contribute to patient health education and comprehensive care
- Active New York State Medical License
- Board Certification in OB/GYN (must be BC; NO BE)
- DEA license
- At least 3-4 weeks of monthly availability to cover minimum required shifts
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
About the Assignment
This position is based at a community health center in Kiryas Joel, NY, providing both hospital and outpatient OB/GYN services. The facility supports a busy practice with a collaborative environment and modern amenities, including onsite ultrasound and labor/delivery units. The provider will be integral to delivering high-quality care to teenagers and adults across a supportive multidisciplinary team.
