Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist II at Flint, MI! This is a 3 months contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Role: Phlebotomist II

Location: Flint, MI 48505

Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40 hours

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Highlights: $25/hour (Based on experience & education qualifications)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform venipuncture and specimen collection procedures for patients of all ages, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • Collect, label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing according to established procedures.
  • Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing duties.
  • Verify patient demographic information and obtain patient signatures to ensure specimen labeling accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate records and required documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Create a positive patient experience by explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns professionally.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and organizational commitment when interacting with patients, clients, and colleagues.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience:

  • 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience
  • Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections

Note: Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible.

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
