Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. This individual will provide specialized treatment and ongoing care to patients who have experienced severe injuries or illnesses. The therapist will implement customized rehabilitation programs tailored to address the unique needs of each patient.

Shift: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

This is a 13-week contract position.

Location: Longview, TX

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' needs and develop appropriate occupational therapy interventions.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to ensure professional standards of occupational therapy practice.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust plans as necessary to meet short- and long-term goals.
• Document patient progress and make recommendations to physicians when needed.
• Utilize therapeutic equipment to assist in patient rehabilitation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must have a current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Previous experience in all aspects of occupational therapy is preferred but not required.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages preferred.
