Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical (Telemetry)

Location

Cambridge, MA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts (Days/Nights) | Every Other Weekend | Expected 72 Hours Biweekly (on-call hours not included)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across multiple Medical-Surgical Telemetry units as part of a float pool assignment
• Float between Med-Surg Telemetry units, PCU, ICU, and ED as needed to support census and staffing demands
• Care for Med-Surg boarders within various unit settings
• Continuously monitor and interpret telemetry data to assess patient status and respond appropriately
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for documentation and care coordination

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or compact eligibility
• Minimum 2+ years of Medical-Surgical Telemetry experience
• Strong telemetry skills required due to multi-unit float responsibilities
• EPIC experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a float pool or multi-unit environment
• Familiarity with PCU or ICU-level patient care
• Ability to adapt quickly to varying patient populations and unit workflows
