After school position in a public elementary school that follows the school calendar.

Job details

Location: Mettawee School District, West Pawlet, VT

Schedule: 2:25 to 5:30 PM on school days
Pay: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour
Payday: Every other Friday
Job type: Part time
Commitment: School year 2026 to 2027

What your afternoons will look like

Being part of a fun, welcoming after-school space for kids
Helping kids build friendships through games and activities
Being a positive influence on the children’s afternoon

Requirements

Enjoys working with school age children
18 years or older with an associate’s degree or higher

Must also meet ONE of the following:

10+ months experience in school-age childcare or youth programming
Vermont Afterschool Professional Credential
Vermont Program Director Credential
Vermont Teacher Licensure
Vermont On-the-Job Training Certificate
Master’s degree in a youth-related field

Comfortable working in a structured school setting
Experience is helpful but not required
