As a key member of our deployment team, you'll bridge the gap between our advanced platform and real-world mission requirements—embedding with customers, engineering bespoke solutions, and serving as a trusted technical partner. If you thrive on building in the field, solving critical problems, and working side-by-side with analysts and operators, we want to hear from you.Key Qualifications3+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on full-stack or systems-level development.Proficiency in Python, Java, or similar languages.Experience with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), APIs, and modern front-end frameworks.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to rapidly prototype, iterate, and deploy in fast-paced environments.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous or evolving mission contexts.Willingness to travel 30–70% of the time based on mission requirements.Active Level 3 security clearance or eligibility to obtain one strongly preferred.DescriptionAs a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will be on the front lines of technical delivery—partnering directly with customers to tailor Strider's platform to their specific mission needs.
