Summary of Position:The Program Manager – Data Center Power Systems independently manages the full lifecycle of large-scale data center power infrastructure programs for hyperscale data center environments. This role owns program outcomes from concept through deployment, with direct accountability for schedule, budget, technical execution, and customer satisfaction.The Program Manager leads cross-functional teams spanning engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and logistics, and makes independent program decisions with minimal oversight from senior leadership. The individual is expected to deliver complex infrastructure programs on time, on budget, and in full compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.Essential Functions:Program Management & ExecutionOwn and manage the complete lifecycle of large-scale data center power system programs from contract award through final customer acceptanceDevelop, baseline, and maintain integrated program schedules, budgets, and resource plans with full accountability for program performanceLead program planning meetings, production reviews, and executive-level status reporting independentlyIdentify, assess, and drive resolution of program risks, schedule impacts, and operational bottlenecks without escalation to senior leadershipManage program documentation, action-item tracking, and configuration control across all workstreamsExecute scope, schedule, and cost change management processes, including formal change order administrationEngineering & Technical LeadershipLead coordination of all engineering activities related to UPS systems, lithium-ion battery systems, electrical distribution, HVAC, outdoor-rated enclosures, and monitoring/control systemsOwn technical review and approval of one-line drawings, electrical schematics, mechanical layouts, structural integration concepts, and thermal management strategiesChair design reviews and manufacturing readiness assessments; make binding technical decisions on behalf of the programManage engineering change processes and ensure all design changes are assessed for cost, schedule, and compliance impactIndependently analyze, design, and implement systems solutions using CAD, ERP/MRP systems, CMDB, and enterprise project management platformsApply advanced knowledge of SCADA, BMS, EMS, and computer-based tools to configure and validate power systems monitoring and data acquisition applicationsExercise independent judgment in the development and integration of firmware configurations, PLC/HMI programming, and network protocols (Modbus, BACnet, SNMP)The primary duty of this position includes the application of systems analysis techniques and procedures, including design, development, testing, and modification of computer systems or programs based on user or system design specificationsManufacturing & Production ManagementDirect fabrication, assembly, integration, testing, and packaging workflows to meet program schedule commitmentsOwn production planning, inventory coordination, and work-in-process management with accountability for delivery milestonesManage relationships with fabrication partners, integrators, and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of long-lead materials and assembliesLead manufacturing quality initiatives and drive production ramp activities to meet volume and yield targetsCompliance, Quality & TestingOwn quality control and compliance documentation for all applicable standards, including UL, NEC, IEC, NEMA, UL50E, UL9540, and UL508AManage factory acceptance testing (FAT) and customer inspection processes, serving as primary program representative during testingEstablish and maintain technical and quality documentation standards across assigned programsCustomer & Vendor ManagementServe as the primary program interface for customers, OEM partners, fabricators, and suppliersLead customer program reviews, manage expectations, and independently resolve schedule, technical, and commercial issuesNegotiate and manage vendor commitments involving long-lead materials, fabricated assemblies, and integrated electrical equipmentBuild and sustain customer relationships to support repeat business and account growthLogistics & DeploymentOwn shipment planning, packaging coordination, and deployment preparation to ensure on-time delivery to customer sitesDevelop and manage installation planning documentation, rigging coordination, and delivery sequencingLead field coordination and deployment readiness activities, serving as on-site program representative when requiredCompetencies:Ensures AccountabilityTech SavvyCommunicates EffectivelyValues DifferencesCustomer FocusResourcefulnessDrives ResultsPlans and PrioritizesDecision QualitySelf-DevelopmentWork Environment:This position is based in a professional office setting and regularly utilizes workplace technology, including computers, smartphones, multifunction printers, cloud-based filing systems, and collaboration tools.Physical Demands:This role requires physical capabilities that support the successful execution of key responsibilities. The employee regularly engages in verbal and written communication with colleagues and clients to address project-related inquiries and must be able to convey accurate information clearly and efficiently. The position involves remaining seated at a workstation for approximately 75% of the time, with occasional movement throughout the office to access equipment, supplies, and shared resources. Daily tasks include consistent use of computers and standard office technology such as keyboards, printers, and multifunction devices. The role also involves transporting equipment boxes weighing up to 25 pounds within the building and to other offsite locations as needed for project support.Required Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business Management, Construction Management, Manufacturing Management, or a related technical discipline.
