Private Duty Care Home Housekeeper / Personal Assistant

Are you a compassionate caregiver looking to make a meaningful impact? BrightStar Care of Sterling Heights is seeking dedicated caregivers to provide one-on-one support for families.
Caregiver Responsibilities:
- Personalized Housekeeping: Perform cleaning, dusting, vacuuming of the client's private bedroom, bathroom, and living area.
- Companionship & Comfort: Provide friendly interaction, assist with light meal setup/dishes, and help the resident stay organized.
- Family Liaison: Keep the resident's family updated on the cleanliness, comfort, and supply levels of the living space.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Assist with medication reminders and light housekeeping
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Follow care plans and report any changes in condition
Caregiver Requirements:
- MUST HAVE - 2 years of professional caregiver experience
- CPR certification (required)
- TB test negative (required)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Ability to bend, kneel, lift up to 25 lbs, and stand for extended periods.
