PCA Job Description – Leesburg, VA A Personal Care Aide (PCA) position is available in Leesburg, Virginia , providing hands‑on support to an adult client who requires assistance with daily living tasks. This role is ideal for caregivers who are dependable, compassionate, and experienced with personal care.

???? Position Overview

• Location: Leesburg, VA

• Role: Personal Care Aide (PCA)

• Setting: Client’s private home

• Client Needs: Assistance with all ADLs and IADLs

• Environment: Supportive household; client lives with family

????️‍???? Client Care Needs

• ADL Support — bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, mobility, transfers

• IADL Support — meal prep, light housekeeping, laundry, errands

• Safety Monitoring — fall prevention, cueing, standby assistance

• Companionship — conversation, emotional support, engagement in daily routines

???? Schedule

• Days: Monday through Sunday

• Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Total Weekly Hours: 56 hours

• Schedule Flexibility may be required for occasional changes

???? Job Responsibilities

• Provide personal care in a respectful, dignified manner

• Assist with mobility including transfers and ambulation

• Prepare meals following dietary needs

• Maintain a clean environment to ensure safety

• Document daily care per agency requirements

• Communicate changes in client condition to supervisors

✔️ Qualifications

• Active PCA/HHA/CNA certification
  
  
• CPR/First Aid preferred

• TB test or chest X‑ray within 12 months

• Background check clearance
  
  
• Reliable transportation to and from the client’s home
