As a Mental Health Professional (MHP), you will play a vital role in supporting clients of all ages through strength-based, solution-focused, and client-centered therapeutic interventions. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in home and community-based settings for persons served.
Responsibilities
- Maintain assigned billable hours per week by providing direct therapeutic services to clients.
- Participate in collaborative meetings with Rehabilitation Services staff, other agencies, and community or natural supports as needed.
- Deliver mental health counseling services to both children and adults, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Provide supportive therapeutic services in home and community-based environments, focusing on client strengths and solutions.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation of services provided, in accordance with clinical standards and office deadlines.
- Utilize computer systems for documentation and billing purposes, with training provided as needed.
- Attend supervision meetings, trainings, and case management or staffing meetings as scheduled by a Licensed Mental Health Professional.
- Respond promptly to phone calls and emails to ensure effective communication with clients and team members.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and organizational policies.
- Obtain required continuing education hours as mandated by the appropriate licensing board.
- Actively participate in evaluations conducted by Rehabilitation Services.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall mission of the organization.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited university or college in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Sociology.
- Current licensure as PLPC, PLMFT, LMSW, or CSW.
- Ability to provide mental health counseling to children and adults.
- Willingness to learn and utilize computer-based documentation systems.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to licensing requirements.
