Accounting ManagerLocation: Rogers, ArkansasArchon Resources is currently looking for an Accounting Manager to join one of our best clients located in Rogers, AR. This is a full-time position with full benefits including medical, vision, dental, PTO, & 401k.Summary: We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Accounting Manager to lead critical components of our accounting operations. This role will oversee the monthly close process, manage a team of accountants, and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting across multiple dealership locations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical accounting foundation, leadership experience, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset to help scale and streamline our financial processes.Responsibilities:Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring all journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports are completed accurately and on scheduleSupervise, coach, and develop a team of staff and senior accountants, promoting continuous improvement and professional growthReview and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and internal financial reporting packagesMaintain and monitor general ledger integrity and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controlsPartner closely with dealership operations to understand and analyze financial performance by locationOversee the preparation and review of lot-level income statements and operating reportsAnalyze key accounting areas including deferred revenue, reserves, and fixed assetsManage tax-related filings such as personal property taxes and estimated payments in collaboration with external partnersEnsure accurate accounting for repossessions, recoveries, and charge-offsSupport the implementation and optimization of accounting systems and process improvementsServe as a key resource for external auditors and regulatory compliance effortsCollaborate with senior finance leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiativesStep in for the Controller or Principal Accounting Officer when neededRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (CPA preferred)5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management roleStrong understanding of GAAP, general ledger systems, and internal control frameworksAutomotive industry experience or multi-location retail environment preferredProficient in Microsoft Excel and financial/accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to balance attention to detail with big-picture thinking in a fast-paced environmentStrong leadership qualities with a collaborative, team-first approach
