Head of Operations

Zof AI is seeking a Head of Operations to help the company run well as it grows. This is a high-trust, high-ownership role spanning operations, hiring support, planning, and execution: building the systems and rhythms that let a small, ambitious team move fast. The ideal candidate is organized, resourceful, discreet, and comfortable owning the unglamorous work that keeps a company sharp. Operations · Senior · Full-time · On-site · San Francisco, CA Responsibilities Build and run the operating rhythms that keep the team focused and fast. Support hiring, onboarding, and people operations. Own planning, reporting, and follow-through across the company. Coordinate across engineering, product, sales, and leadership. Set up and improve internal systems, tools, and processes. Handle finance, vendor, and administrative operations where needed. Run the hybrid human plus AI-agent operating model: how agent teammates are provisioned, supervised, and measured alongside people. Use AI tools to streamline operations and reporting. Take on high-priority problems and drive them to resolution. Requirements Exceptional organization and follow-through. Strong judgment and discretion with sensitive matters. Ability to operate across many areas at once. Bias for action and comfort with ambiguity. Clear written and verbal communication. High ownership and reliability. Comfort in a fast-moving, high-standard environment. Willingness to use AI tools to work more efficiently. Nice to have Experience in operations, chief-of-staff, or founding-team roles. Experience at an early-stage startup. Familiarity with finance, recruiting, or people operations. Experience building internal tools or automations.
