Job Responsibilities Take complete ownership of the store, including setting goals for growth and designing strategies to achieve those goals. Build and lead the team/store to success, ensuring a positive and professional environment and exceptional customer service. Oversee day‑to‑day operations, including maintaining custard quality to the highest standards. Mentor and grow assistant managers to prepare them for promotion opportunities. Communicate with store staff via emails and phone calls, ensuring timely responses to all inquiries. Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep stores operating to standard. Train and hold the team accountable for delivering outstanding customer service. Manage the store with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promotes the company's culture, values, and mission. Monitor and manage store staffing levels, including interviewing, hiring, recruiting, onboarding, and overseeing training. Follow and reinforce the company’s policies and procedures. Perform hands‑on tasks, physically working all shifts and taking care of guests and staff. Lead by example and uphold high standards of operation in a fast‑paced environment. Provide constant coaching and feedback to help the team grow. Maintain open availability, including late nights, weekends, and some holidays. Work full‑time with reliable transportation to and from work. Qualifications Must have 3–5 years of proven management experience in the food service industry or a leadership role in a related industry. High school diploma or equivalent required. Solid employment track record with positive references. Friendly, enthusiastic, and full of energy. Strong personal leadership and ability to work well in a fast‑paced environment. Physical Requirements Constant standing and walking. Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 55 pounds independently and safely. Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps, etc. Constant computer, point‑of‑sale register, and front equipment usage. Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing or rotation of the wrist and spine. Constant reaching, turning, and performing precision work around the fountain area. Constant talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken work. Constant clarity of vision at near and/or far distances. Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
