Job Description Summary Utilize all MRI resources to perform high quality MRI examinations on entire patient population (pre-teen through geriatrics) for interpretation by a physician. 2nd shift weekdays and on-call rotation among staff. Performs clinical MRI and MR Angiography testing, including general studies, breast studies, and the computer interactions related with these studies. Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology and one year of radiologic experience. Work Experience: 0-2 years of modality specific experience required. Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) and licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association. Must be able to produce very high-quality special imaging with little supervision. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Proactively maintains and renews ARRT, state license, BLS, PPD, respirator fit test, and POC training. Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
