RPG is looking for a motivated, organized person to manage and grow an established sales territory in the Black Hills and surrounding region.

You’ll start with existing customers, a company vehicle, and the tools to succeed. Your opportunity is to build those accounts: introduce products, improve merchandise displays, recognize unused space, and develop new business.

If you enjoy working independently, building relationships, and seeing your effort reflected in your earnings, this position offers room to grow.

Compensation and Earning Opportunity

This is a commission-based position with a $36,000 annualized starting draw against earned commission , paid biweekly to provide consistent income throughout our seasonal sales cycle.

The draw is an advance against commission. Your total earnings depend on sales, product mix, and qualifying bonuses.

Commission rates vary by product category. Representatives can increase their earnings by growing customer accounts, expanding displays, opening new accounts, and selling more higher-commission products.

Additional earning opportunities include bonuses for:

• Achieving monthly sales goals
• Opening new customer accounts
• Placing new racks and displays
• Developing custom-product business

What You’ll Do

You’ll work directly with store owners, managers, and buyers while keeping RPG merchandise well presented and selling.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing and growing existing customer relationships
• Finding additional sales opportunities within each account
• Developing new customers
• Presenting new products and seasonal programs
• Taking and managing orders
• Stocking, organizing, and rotating merchandise
• Identifying empty or underperforming display space
• Securing and placing racks and displays
• Developing custom-product opportunities
• Delivering merchandise
• Maintaining accurate customer and inventory information
• Communicating with our Rapid City office and warehouse teams

This is a hands-on position requiring the ability to safely lift and handle merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds .

A successful representative looks beyond the next reorder and finds ways to help each customer sell more.

Territory and Schedule

The territory is based in Rapid City and covers portions of the Black Hills and surrounding region, generally within approximately two hours of Rapid City.

No overnight travel is normally required.

During peak tourist season, 40–50 hours per week is normal. During the slower season, the workload may average closer to 32 hours per week .

The slower months provide time to learn products and customers, plan account growth, and prepare for the busy selling season.
