15 Oser Ave Hauppauge New York 11788-3808 Brief Summary of This Position This is an Individual Contributor position with the Site Pro 1 in the Telecom division. Working under the direction of the Facility Manager, the Picker/Packer is responsible for accurately picking all communication tower components per the packing slip and for general housekeeping of their area. Essential Functions Operate forklifts and other production equipment. Accurately pick and pack items based on customer orders. Perform inventory control activities, including cycle counts. Lift up to 50 pounds (most frequent lift is 20 pounds). Wear required personal protective equipment and work in a non-temperature controlled environment. Stand and walk up to 100% of the shift. This position reports into the Facility Manager and has no direct reports. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED and 6+ months of relevant education or work experience. Basic mathematical skills. Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Ability to work overtime as business needs require. Experience operating a personal computer. Additional Qualifications At least 1 year of previous experience working in a warehouse facility. Ability to solve complex problems with high attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment with specific deadlines. Strong communication and positive teamwork skills.
