As an itinerant therapist, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to promote students’ independence and success.

Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapy license required
• Preferred initial certification from the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Ability to support students with mild to severe needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Flexibility to travel to multiple sites as part of an itinerant role

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to a varied student caseload, from mild to severe needs
• Assess student abilities and develop individualized intervention plans
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other specialists to ensure cohesive support
• Document progress and maintain compliance with federal and state guidelines
• Support inclusive practices within the school community
• Travel between assigned school sites as a flexible, responsive resource to students and staff
