The Supply Chain Contracts Manager will lead a team of contracting professionals and build a center of excellence for contract development and management within the Supply Chain function. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution—ensuring the team drives critical supply agreements from initial concept through final signature. They will partner closely with team members in the legal, procurement, new product introduction, logistics and finance functions to ensure Beta is considering, drafting, negotiating and executing the appropriate contract tools at the appropriate times. How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing contracting teamEstablish contracting standards, processes, and training programsPartner with Beta Legal to maintain a comprehensive library of contract templates and clausesEstablish best practices, policies, and procedures for all supply agreementsServe as the primary subject matter expert for contracting within supply chainProvide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on contracting mattersEnsure all critical supply agreements align with business objectives and mitigate riskSupport complex vendor negotiations and balance commercial needs with legal/compliance requirementsDrive timely contract closure to support supply chain initiativesPresent to leadership on contracts, terms and associated risksMinimum Qualifications:5-7+ years of contract management experience (5+ in supply chain/procurement context)3+ years of team leadership or supervisory experienceDemonstrated success negotiating complex vendor/supply agreementsExperience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain contracting rolesExposure to multiple contract types (purchase agreements, service agreements, strategic partnerships)Expert-level contract drafting, negotiation, and managementKnowledge of risk management, compliance, and legal principlesAbove and Beyond Qualifications:Master's degree in related field or JDPrevious experience in aerospace manufacturing or defense contractingFamiliarity with Ironclad or other contract lifecycle management software or compliance tracking softwarePhysical Demands and Work Environment:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
